Summary of the Power Electronics Engineer:
You will work closely with the product line automotive team consisting of marketing, applications and project engineering.  Performing system and discrete level circuit analysis and documentation of automotive applications (including body electronics, motor applications, lighting, engine electronics, camera systems, HEV and  EV application testing of automotive application for 48V systems.  You will also do market research and competitive bench marking. In addition you will support developing automotive software and hardware demo kits. 

Responsibilities of the Power Electronics Engineer:
  • Collaborate with all  business units to develop market presentations
  • Design and develop automotive development kits for apps such as:  ADAS, Lighting, Body, Powertrain, HEV/EV, and 48V systems
  • Hands on design, build, and testing of PCB’s per customer specifications
  • Lead and organize several projects using SharePoint and traditional PM methods.

Qualifications of the Power Electronics Engineer:
  • 2-10 years  experience
  • BSEE or similar degree
  • Analog and digital component expertise of electronics system and component at discrete levels i.ei, MOSFETs, Diodes, Voltage Regulators.
  • PCB design tool expertise with software such as: Cadence Allegro, PCB artist, Altium, etc
  • Good knowledge of power electronics
  • Semiconductor and automotive experience/internship is a PLUS

Compensation of the Power Electronics Engineer:
Salary - $70000 - 110000 / Year

Travel: domestic
